Jean-Nicolette Nixon

Jean-Nicolette Nixon received her Juris Doctor at Mississippi College School of Law after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Mississippi. While attending undergrad, Jean-Nicolette was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, where she served on the Executive Board as Director of Standards and Ethics. While at Mississippi College School of Law, she was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society as the Public Relations Chair, a volunteer coordinator for the Women’s Student Bar Association, and a member of the Student Bar Association Events Committee, Legal Eye Newspaper Writing Staff, and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. She also received the Best Paper Award for Legal Research.

While attending Law School, Jean-Nicolette was a legal intern and lobbying assistant at The Echols Group, Education Law and Policy Clinic as a student attorney, and the Mississippi Public Service Commission as a legal intern. She also has legal experience in Real Estate Law and Property Issues. She now works for Neblett, Beard & Arsenault and focuses on Social Security Disability law.

A Jackson, MS native, Jean-Nicolette is an Ole Miss football fan and was a recruiting and operations assistant for the team while in college. While in law school, she obtained her certification to become an Athlete Agent in Mississippi to assist athletes with NIL (name, image, and likeness). She worked with athletes from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Southern Miss. Jean-Nicolette is looking forward to her upcoming marriage in 2025, and outside of work is involved in volunteer organizations. She is a member of Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle and worked with the Ronald McDonald House through Alpha Delta Pi and MC Law.
