How Much is a Car Accident Injury Case Worth?
How much is your car accident worth? Each case is valued on an individual basis and our Louisiana car accident lawyers will value your claim. There are several types of damages that can be sought in a car accident case. These include economic damages – the costs you incurred in medical care, rehabilitation, lost income and other financial losses. The value will be based upon the long term impact upon the victim.
Some people have suffered such serious injuries that there is no possibility of working for a living, now or in the future. Others may recover after many months or it could take years before there is some level of ability restored. A careful calculation of all damages is crucial with regard to the final amount you will receive in economic damages.
Non-economic damages are far more personal and reflect the impact upon the victim’s quality of life, pain, suffering, and other similar types of damages. The amount paid in non-economic damages could be a significant portion of the final settlement or verdict in cases that are resolved at trial.
